Of all fascinating festivals around the globe, Vietnam's Mid-Autumn Festival is perhaps my favorite. Normally, the festival is held on the 15th day of August in Lunar Calendar. On that day, after spending the whole day preparing moon cakes and lanterns with my family, I often go to my primary school in the evening as the local authority usually hold a special event for children on that occasion. Many interesting performances are prepared. We are all very excited on that night. There are people playing "Chu Cuoi" and "Chi Hang", who are symbol charaters of the festival. In the end of the festival, I will join in the lantern parade. We will sing along together and enjoy the beauty of the moon. That is definitely the most interesting festival in the year.
