→ In spite of having all the necessary qualifications, they didn't offer me the job.

DỊCH : Mặc dù có tất cả các bằng cấp cần thiết, họ đã không mời tôi làm việc.

5. Though she hates rock music, she went to the performance.

→ Despite she hated rock music, she went to the performance.

DỊCH : Mặc dù ghét nhạc rock nhưng cô vẫn đến xem buổi biểu diễn.

6. Even though they were very successful, they never made much money.

→ In spite of they were very successful, they never made much money.

DỊCH : Mặc dù rất thành công nhưng họ không bao giờ kiếm được nhiều tiền.

7. Although she knew the answer, she refused to tell him.

→ Despite knowing the answer, she refused to tell him.

DỊCH :Dù biết câu trả lời nhưng cô không chịu nói cho anh biết.

8. Although she has a lot of money, she doesn’t help the homeless.

→ Despite  she has a lot of money, she doesn’t help the homeless.

DỊCH :Mặc dù cô ấy có rất nhiều tiền nhưng cô ấy không giúp đỡ những người vô gia cư.

→ Despite the fact that i had planned very carefully, we ended up staying in a really bad hotel. 

DỊCH : Mặc dù thực tế là tôi đã lên kế hoạch rất kỹ lưỡng, nhưng cuối cùng chúng tôi vẫn ở trong một khách sạn thực sự tồi tệ.

10. Though I wasn’t keen on the film, I thought the music was beautiful.

→ In spite of being not keen on the film, i thought the music was beautiful.

DỊCH : Mặc dù tôi không thích bộ phim, nhưng tôi nghĩ âm nhạc rất hay.
