My mother told me English is an international language, so everyone should learn English in order to have an advantage to access to the world. For me it is not just simply a tool for communication, but it is also opens new doors to the vast ocean.  

 English is the compulsory requirement to evaluate the job seekers. Besides, English is becoming an international language, so being proficient in English helps you go abroad easily, especially when you want to get scholarship. Europe and America universities, which are considered to be the best educational environments, always accept those who have a reasonable English proficiency. You can go oversea to travel or to study, English definitely supports you to get adapted to local life better.

Last, what I had learnt in reading skill can be applied perfectly in reading any kind of material. By scanning and skimming, I can understand thoroughly the main ideas of each page. In sum up, all of the four skills of English can particularly help me in a lot of aspects. I am happy that I started learning English at a very young age, and I will continue to practice it.
