In my opinion, students in Vietnam should be required to study arts and music for three following reasons. In the first place, music and arts help children to be creative. For instance, some of them will learn how to play a musical instrument while others will learn how to make sculptures and paint pictures. That is their way to express their emotions as well as viewpoints on various aspects.  Another benefit these subjects bring to students is that children feel relaxed when emersed in arts and music. Obviously, a nice song or a work of art can give pleasure to millions of people. Last but not least, music and arts broaden their horizon. They can learn a lot of new things such as culture, people, and landscape through pieces of music or paintings. In short, teaching children arts and music at school is a good idea because  these two subjects  can enrich students’ knowledge, help them relax and make them more creative.
