So many places in the world rely heavily on tourism as a key source of income and employment nowadays, however, tourism can also be a source of problems too.  One of the drawbacks of tourism is the pressure on population. For example, the number of  arrival raises the number of people in an area, which causes traffic jams and social vices. Many cities and towns become overcrowded with tourists, their vehicles increase traffic jams as well as air and noise pollution.Besides, tourists consume a lot of local resources such as water, food, energy, etc., which results in many other depressions. Secondly, Things like ancient buildings, monuments, and temples often struggle to cope with the vast amounts of tourist traffic and they suffer wear and tear or damage.. Some areas can be inundated with visitors during busy times, and then virtually deserted for many months. In conclusion, the development of tourism has both benefits and disadvantages, we need to have the right control over it and prevent the damage caused by tourism.

Currently, environmental pollution is a hot topic in the newspapers and receives a lot of attention from the people. In particular, the problem of water pollution in Vietnam has been becoming more and more serious. Through the media, we can easily see images, as well as articles reflecting the current environmental situation. Although departments, unions make efforts to call for environmental protection, water resources protection, ... it seems that it is not enough to improve the situation of increasing pollution.

The status of planning of urban areas not linked to the problem of waste treatment, wastewater treatment, ... still exists in big cities, industrial zones, urban areas. .. the environmental box is at an alarming level. It is estimated that out of a total of 183 industrial parks in the country, over 60% of industrial zones do not have a centralized wastewater treatment system. In urban areas, only about 60% - 70% of solids are collected, infrastructure for drainage and wastewater treatment, solids cannot answer the requirements for environmental protection. Most of the wastewater discharged from oil and grease, chemicals, cleaning chemicals, ... is not treated regularly to natural rivers and lakes. An example has been balanced by concern, in the case of the Thi River being polluted by chemicals leaving the house of the Vedan MSG company for 14 consecutive years.
