Soil pollution has now become much more of a boiling issue to all countries in the world. Due to the appearance of many fertilizers and pesticide, farmers have been overusing them to contaminate the soil. This poses a great health threat as peole cultivate food on the land. Additionally, industrialization does not only lead to air pollution but also contribute greatly to the severeness of soil contamination. As more and more firms dump their untreated sewage right into rivers and the sea, the aquatic environment become extremely hazardous for marine animals to survive. Moreover, the fresh water for daily activities will also be negatively affected. In order to improve the situation, several methods have been implemented by governments. However, I believe the most effective way to reduce soil pollution is raising people's awareness of the issue.
