Xã hội ngày càng phát triển, số lượng các phương tiện tham gia giao thông ngày càng nhiều. Vấn đề an toàn giao thông ngày càng được quan tâm, chú trọng. Một thực trạng đáng buồn là nhiều người không có ý thức chấp hành nghiêm túc luật giao thông, trong số đó có học sinh. Những hành vi vi phạm luật giao thông có thể thấy nhiều nhất là: người điều khiển xe đạp, xe máy không đội mũ bảo hiểm; vượt đèn đỏ, phóng nhanh vượt ẩu, mang vác hàng cồng kềnh… Những hành vi đó đã để lại những hậu quả vô cùng nghiêm trọng, không chỉ về của cải mà còn về tính mạng. Nguyên nhân chủ yếu dẫn đến thực trạng trên chính là do ý thức của mỗi người. Cùng với đó là hệ thống pháp luật còn chưa hoàn thiện. Bởi vậy mà mỗi gia đình, nhà trường cần giáo dục con cái, học sinh có ý thức hơn khi tham gia giao thông. Đối với lực lượng cảnh sát an ninh cần nghiêm khắc xử lí cách hành vi không chấp hành để có tính răn đe, giáo dục. Còn với riêng em sẽ luôn ý thức được mình cần nghiêm túc chấp hành luật giao thông. Chỉ có giữ gìn được an toàn giao thông mới có thể xây dựng một cuộc sống tốt đẹp, văn minh.
