Five years ago, I attended a very big festival in Ha Noi. It's called 1000th Anniversary of Thang Long - Ha Noi Festival. There are a lot of activities in this festival such as fireworks display, military parade, music performances, ect. It was organized very splendidly because the organizers are the Viet Nam government. Millions of people came to Ha Noi to participate in this great festival. It was held for ten days from October 1st 2010 to October 10th 2010. I saw lots of fireworks, parties, parades during these days. It was interesting. I took so many pictures on this festival because there were plenty of beautiful scenes. We organized this great festival to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Ha Noi.

Every year, every spring, my hometown jubilantly opens the boat racing festival on the Red River. That morning, the two sides of the river along the 1000m long race track, the drummer, the trumpeter, was full of joy and excitement. The race started at the beginning of my village. Under the river five racing boats were lined up horizontally at the starting line. On the boat, the racers are strong young men sitting in a row with paddle hands. Each team has a different color. At the time of departure, when the trumpets emerged, the boats rushed to the finish line. On both sides of the river, the cheering and cheering of the viewers disturbed a whole section of the river. My village team finished first. At the end of the festival is the awarding part, everyone is present in full to congratulate the racers.
The boat racing festival is the traditional culture of my hometown. I will study well, do sports with strong body so I can join the boat race.
