1. I live in a modest four-storey house in the centre of a city. It is modern and comfortable, and I like it way better than our previous house. What's more, it's of reasonable price and was in pretty good condition for a house 20 years of age. The renovation process went well enough, but it would've been even better if the workers actually had skill and paid attention.
2. My family has only moved here a few weeks ago. The packing was agonizing for me as I am extremely disorganized. I also easily get distracted so it took a lot of time until I actually finished putting everything away, and I received a fair amount of chiding for that. When we arrived at our new home, it was time to unpack, which is an equally excruciating task that by now, almost a month later, I still haven't completed.
3. To be honest, I have this unhealthy routine of waking up, lying in bed all day, carrying my pathetic, sorry little arse down to dine when summoned, blasting music through my headphones (speakers in case nobody else's home) until my eardrums explode, staring at the wall and get overwhelmed by nothing, then pull all-nighters binge-reading or watching Netflix. Therefore, it doesn't matter where I live in, life never changes. Everyone's been telling me to snap out of it, and I know it's true and I should, but that doesn't stop me from neglecting myself and my duties alongside everybody else. I do sometimes wash the dishes, cook and occasionally do the laundry though, if my mother forces me to.
4. I love my new house, for the most part, because it is spacey and the freshly-painted interior as well as the brand new furniture looks really nice. My older sister and I share a room, which has a bunk bed and I already called dibs on the top bunk. We even have a mini garden on the rooftop, so that anyone can go up there to catch some fresh air, let your hair down if needed amidst all the craziness of hectic, exhausting modern life. Despite all these plus sides, there are inevitable drawbacks, such as the noise from all the vehicles journeying the large but rather bumpy roads outside of the house, or my neighbor's dog that howls everyday without fail, whenever a vendor (who always carries a speaker announcing his/her presence to everyone in a 500-meter radius, in our country) travel by, or the vexing, insufferable rooster whose untimely crows sometimes wake me up at five in the morning, or in the middle of my much-needed naps.
5. As I have stated earlier, I love my bedroom, particularly my top bunk the most in the entire house. To answer why, I can sleep till noon as no one would bother climbing there and wake me up. In addition, it's somewhat my sanctuary, a generous compensation for my personal space.
