I wanna a chance to take part in Songkran festival-the water festival because I really like it. Songkran festival is the Thai New Year festival. it is a huge water party throught Thailand anh it takes place from April 13th to 15th. For Thai people, Songkran festival is the time of fun to wwelcome the new year and show the respect for water-the most important element in the agrieultural culture of Southeast Asia. During Songkran festival, people splash water or each other to wish for luck in the new year. As a way to show respect, younger people often pour water over the palms of elder's hand. You can see the streets thought the country quickly become a huge water fight. Songkran festival is a great time to learn about the culture and religion of Thailand. i love the festival atmosphere there. it is unforgettable
