The gathering of the lights on you last year was fun. I bought you a butterfly lantern. The full moon was in august, when i heard the frog' s drum rush out in the alley, i was rushing to enter the tiny army into the đầu lawn and then rounded up the circle around the corner. After your statement, we lined up a long way around the neighborhood, headed for two dragons. Where the lights go, the drums go up there, making the whole neighborhood warm like a big day. Get the lights on, we go back to the grass to get ready to break. It' s not as much fun as having a light. We just ate the candy, the fruit, the nghệ. When the moon was high, we were just leaving. 
That day left me some unforgettable memories. 

This festival is Ooc bom boc. It’s held by our ethnic group in Soc Trang on the 14th and 15th evenings of the 10th lunar month. We worship our Moon God at the festival. We thank him because he gives us good harvest and plenty of fish in the rivers. There are many activities: first we have a worshipping ceremony at home, under the bamboo archway or at the pagoda. When the moon appears, the old pray to the Moon God and the children raise their clasped hands to the moon. The offerings are green rice flakes, coconuts, potatoes and pia cakes. Then we float beautiful paper lanterns on the river, and the next evening, we hold thrilling dragon boat races.
