Friends are important to everyone in life. However, in my opinion, we need specific criteria to choose a friend, especially best friends. First, among the traits of a best friend, honesty is easily one of the most significant. Your friends should tactfully tell you the truth, rather than lying to keep you happy in the short term. Secondly, they should be accepting even when their lives diverge from your own. They will understand that your choices are your own, and see that what's right for them isn't necessarily right for you. For me, my best friend is Nga. She is the girl who satisfies these two criteria above. Moreover, I and her have a lot of things in common. We have the same goal of being a nurse in the future, same hobby of playing music. Everything is easier when we are together. I believe the main reason why she becomes my best friend is that she has been always been with me in every milestones of my life. I like her so much and I hope our friendship will last forever.
