Thank you for your last email. I loved to learn about your city. In this letter I'm going to tell you 
about my holiday plans.
I'm really excited about my summer plans because my parents are taking me to New York!! We 
are leaving on 12th July and we have great plans. First, we are going to visit the Metropolitan 
Museum in New York City. I don't like museums in general, but this is really special. We are also 
going to go sightseeing and we are going to visit the statue of Liberty  and the Empire State 
Building. Then we are going to the Great Lakes to do some scuba diving. Finally, we are going to 
Niagara Falls. That's an enormous waterfall. Part of it is in the USA and part of it is in Canada. It's 
amazing!
I'm going to need a big suitcase because I need to pack my summer clothes, shorts and T-shirts 
mainly, but I will also need my swimsuit, my flip flops, and some jumpers or cardigans because it 
might be cooler at night and by the Niagara Falls!
When we come back from New York, I'm going to go to the beach with my family. We usually go to 
Matalascañas. I have lots of friends there so it'll be a lot of fun!
I can't wait for the summer!! What are you planning to do?

Dear mpham3302,

Last summer, my group and I spent our holiday on the Vung Tau Beach. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Viet Nam. It took us two hours to get there.

We met at a bus station. At 5 a.m., we started our trip by bus. Although I felt tired after two long hours, the sea air made me rejuvenated.

Finally, the beach was in front of us. Its length is 750 m, with beautiful sea and form of entertainment is multiform.

We arranged our bags and after that we swum in the blue sea. The weather was very nice. The golden light was spreading on the white sand. The tiny waves were crashing onto the beach. After swimming, we started to build sandcastles, listened to the sounds of the waves, felt the salted taste of the sea and enjoyed some special foods.

In the afternoon, we rode around on the road from the back to the front of the beach by double-bicycles. There was a wonderful sight: the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. It really made me forget everything and relax. And then, we decided to climb the Tao Phung mountain. The Standing God’s shoulder is great. We could see the mountains, houses and the wide sea. When we were climbing down the mountain, we bought some souvenirs for our friends.

The day went by so fast. I wanted to stay there longer but we had to come back to work the next day. The trip was short but it left a lasting impression on me. My friends and I have many memories of that day.
