The story is about: the mermaid Sae Hwa ran aground and was captured by a fisherman. She was tied up in a lotus pond for the purpose of obtaining premium fish oil. Dam Ryung is the new district command to take office. He is a talented and handsome young mandarin. The two met each other in an awkward situation by the lake. Feeling annoyed when the mermaid was tied up and mistreated by the fishermen, the young district commander helped her return to the open sea. Dam Ryung also gave Sae Hwa the ring of faith. Legend has it that, if you touch a mermaid, the spirit will panic and the memory will be erased. However, when Sae Hwa reached out, Dam Ryung reached for her hand, starting a predestined relationship that lasted many lives.

In modern times, Dam Ryung's afterlife is Heo Joon Jae, a professional con man. He has a talent for hypnosis with fire and a super-intelligent mind. Joon Jae and 2 friends formed a fraud group, having successfully performed many spectacular missions. As for Shim Chung, after going ashore, the tail turns into legs. She broke into the beach house, which is Joon Jae's hotel room. Shim Chung "eats and destroys" Joon Jae's room and then goes into the "entrenched" wardrobe. As expected, all the "manly" actions of the scammer have a purpose. What Joon Jae is aiming for is the precious ring of faith - the item he gave to Shim Chung in his previous life. After having the bracelet in hand, Joon Jae quickly left. Leaving Shim Chung alone sitting bewildered in the mall. After working hours, Shim Chung was kicked out even though it was raining. Not knowing where to go, the mermaid sat on the porch of the building. At that moment Joon Jae returned, covered his umbrella and offered his hand to the mermaid to take. Once again, the predestined handshake pulled two people from two worlds together.

The Terminal is a 2004movie under the genre comedy based on the story of  Andrew Niccol and  Sacha Gervasi. The film is produced and directed by  Steven Spielberg , and starring  Tom Hanks  and  Catherine Zeta-Jones. The film is about a man who has to live in concourse number 7 at international airport JFK International Airport (the scene in the movie is the same as Terminal 4) when he is denied entry to USA and cannot returned home because there was a revolution going on.

Some have suggested that the film's story is based on the story of  Merhan Karimi Nasseri, an refugee Iranian who lived in Concourse 1 (Terminal One) of  Charles-de-Gaulle International Airport near  Paris  from 1988 when the paper His residency was stolen until 2006 when he was hospitalized due to an illness. However, there is no source of information to mention whether the film is based on the story of the Iranian man. Another movie,  1993 Lost in Transit (Tombés du ciel), has a similar plot and takes place at the airport of Paris.

Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks), a man from fantasy country Krakozhia landing at  John F. Kennedy International Airport of New York City, realizes that during the flight, his country's government was overthrown by the people rebel, it devalued his passport , and thus he got stuck in the JFK airport lounge. For the next nine months, Viktor was forced to live in a plane waiting room, unable to set foot in the America  nor return home. He befriends airport agents, including hostess Amelia Warren (Catherine Zeta-Jones), while still being watched by immigration officer Frank Dixon (Stanley Tucci), who wants "Consultation." Navorski issue" was removed from the airport.

One day, Viktor explained to Amelia that the purpose of his visit to New York City was to collect portraits of the artist tenor saxophonist jazz Benny Golson. His father, deceased, was a jazz lover. To complicate matters, Dixon was supposed to sign an order granting Viktor the right to stay in USA, but he didn't, and instead decided to expel Viktor. Thanks to the influence of the friends Viktor made during his stay in the airport lounge, Viktor was allowed to leave the airport. As Viktor was about to take a taxi to the  Ramada Inn, 161 Lexington Avenue, in New York, where Benny Golson performed, he observed Amelia exiting a taxi, she smiled at him wistfully. Viktor attended the show and collected autographs, eventually completing the collection. In the end, Viktor took a taxi and told the driver that he wanted to go 'home'.
