Nowadays people are so familiar with computers . everyone uses it to find information , for work and study . but you can imagine 20 years ago , a computer was so rare , only a very small number of people had it . without computers, many people would not be able to do the jobs that require them to be used ,edit documents or do other things. so today, computers are very useful for studying and working in companies .

Students twenty years ago were most likely unable to benefit from the Internet in their studies. That's why it took them a long time, a lot of energy, and even a lot of money to finish a project that we can now do in one or two days.

When asked to write an assignment regarding past behaviors, for example, students were required to go to the library, hunt for literature on the subject, read the books, and hand-write whatever information they believed would be beneficial for their work. They'd also have to meet with some elderly people and speak with them about their lives in the past. They had to handwrite their assignment at home, which may have involved a lot of erasing and redoing of the original draft. They had to write a clean copy on another sheet of paper for submission after finishing the draft.
