Yesterday my school had a class about road signs and the way to move safely for all the students in grade four and five. Our school held this class for us because we ourselves often went to school by bike. A policewoman showed us a board with many images of road signs. She told us each sign’s meaning. Then asked some of us to raise our hands and repeat it. After break time, we continued the class. She told us how to move safely on the road. I just could remember some things, such as: •We must stop when we see the traffic light turns red.

•We can go when the light turn green.

•We must cross the road at the zebra crossing.

•We should wear helmets when we ride our bikes.

At the end, the policewoman gave us a chance to practise what we had learnt. She put many road signs on the yards and asked us to imagine our school yard to be a road ride. Then we rode out bike around school yard and follow her directions. The class lasted for one hour. In the afternoon it continued for two hours. We all felt happy after getting more information to move safely on the roads.
