I was born and raised in Nghệ An, a place is popularly known as "Miền Trung bão lũ", which roughly translated as "The central's Vietnam floods and storms". As a result, I have witnessed and experienced countless storm seasons, widespread floodings, landslides, and prolonged heavy rains. However, the last one in 2020 was the harshest and most catastrophic. To clarify, in about one month, central Vietnam was hit by 13 consecutive tropical storms, which affected millions of millions of people. Unfortunately, endless houses are devastated, stealing people's lives and families. Reminiscing on how painful and arduous my compatriots have been through, literally broke my heart into pieces. But, at the end of the day, everything is alright as people living in every corner of the country were all giving us a helping hand. Honestly, this was such a rollercoaster of emotions as we got close to each other, and we have been fighting together.
