Subject: Places of interest in my hometown

Dear Anna, I’m so glad to hear that you’re coming to Viet Nam. It’s a pity that you can only spend one day in Hoi An. There are many interesting things you can do here, but I think within one day you are able to do three things. First, you can go for a walk around the streets surrounded by the atmosphere of times gone by. Especially, if you visit the town during the full moon, you can enjoy the beautiful lights from colorful lanterns. Secondly, you can get some new threads. One of Hoi An’s biggest tourist drawing cards are the tailors that line the streets in the centre of town. Whatever you want to be made, someone can make it happen as quickly as within 24 hours. Last but not least, as a cuisine lover, you should definitely treat yourself with various special dishes here. I suggest that you try Cao Lau with an authentic taste at Mermaid Restaurant. If you want to find something a little adventurous, you can also taste egg coffee at Cafe 57, my favourite shop. Believe me! It would be really worth a try. Tell me when you’re coming so I can take you to travel around.
