Tet is the most popular festival in the Asian. It occurs at the end ò January or at the beginning of February. There are a lot of activities that people do during Tet. We need to clean and decorate our house. People often buy peach blossoms, apricot blossoms, kumquat tree, flowers, lanterns, pantings,... To prepare Tet, people usually cook banh chung and many special food. On 30th December Lunar year, people worship to thank their god and ancestors, say goodbye to the old year and welcome New Year. We can watch fireworks, visit pagoda and temple to pray for happiness, health and fortune. At Tet, I as well as children feel very happy because we have much lucky money and many delicious food. I love Tet so much ! The new year festival is so important to me and also to all Vietnamese citizens. The reason is because we get more days off from work and study, and therefore we have more time to spend with our families and our loved ones. It is also a great time to think about what we have done in the previous year, and to make plans for the upcoming year.
