Teen Life Support Groups are intended to provide a safe place for teens to talk with peers dealing with similar issues with the guidance of an adult facilitator. These groups get together to talk about issues that are going on in teens’ lives. These may be things like grief, depression, anger, or could be prompted by issues with cutting, alcohol, or drugs. In these groups, students will also learn life skills that will help them deal with stress, relationships, challenges, school and more!he thing that makes our support groups different is that the teenagers, as participants, get to have input into how the group will work and what we will talk about throughout the process.We focus on facilitating a tangible experience for students about society and communication.
