After the outbreak of Covid-19 in Europe, I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to return to Vietnam quite early, when there were only about 500 cases in the UK. However, since my university still maintains and teaches online until the end of the second semester, I have had to adapt to the time zone deviation as well as arrange the study time properly. Online learning gives me many opportunities that I have never seen before in major lecture halls, and online learning still helps me gain the full amount of knowledge as studying in school. However, online learning also presents me with some challenges. Since I have returned to Vietnam, I have had to experience the time zone difference when studying online. My classes are all UK time zone, so I usually have to study between 18.00–23.00 every day. Besides, we have a lot of group exercises. Since I am the only international student, I will have to follow the schedules of the local people in the group. Therefore, there are days when I have to stay up until 3:00 am to work in groups with you.
