=>The population of the Bru-Van Kieu people is about 74,500 people. They mostly live in the provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue. Their language is Mon-Khmer. They grow rice on terraced fields, raise cattle and poultry to earn a living. Their main festival is held before sowing seeds.
