Xuong Giang ancient citadel is currently in Xuong Giang commune, Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province is an attractive destination on Bac Giang tourist map. This citadel was built by the Ming army during the invasion war in the 15th century and Now it is only a relic but still retains its grandeur, wonders as well as its inherent solidity. The whole area is about 27ha. The walls are made of terracotta with four bastions at the four corners, and surrounded by deep and wide moats. This is where the Lam Son army launched the attack on September 28, 1427 and the battle against the Ming reinforcements on November 3, 1427.

Xuong Giang Citadel is an ancient citadel with only ruins remaining in Bac Giang province, Vietnam. This is a citadel built by the Ming Dynasty in the early 15th century after conquering Dai Ngu. The citadel lasted until 1427 when it was defeated by Lam Son insurgents in the battle of Xuong Giang.

Xuong Giang citadel in the past belonged to Dong Nham commune, Tho Xuong canton, now belongs to Xuong Giang ward in the northeast of Bac Giang city.
