Last weekend, my friends and I had a trip to the beach, and I had to admit that there was nowhere that as beautiful as a beach. We went to Vung Tau, one of the most famous beaches in Vietnam. Vung Tau is a familiar spot for people in Ho Chi Minh City because it is not very far. At the weekend people usually ride their motorbikes for about three hours to get there. Although Vung Tau beach is not the most beautiful beach in the South, it has many attractive figures that we should never miss. The beach was used to be full of tourists who hired the chairs, tables, and umbrellas to sit and eat right on the sandbank. However, since the government established some rules to protect the environment, the beach was clean from the crowd. There is a long road along the shore, and we can see the water changes its colors when we stand on that road. In the morning, the water has green color; in the afternoon, it turns into sapphire blue just like the sky; and finally, in the evening, it has a darker tone of blue as the sun begins to set. Right next to the shore is a big mountain which is an ideal place to build pagodas and temples. The road is between the ocean and the mountain, so we can have many poetic pictures when we go along that road. In the evening, it is a great feeling to walk on the sandbank to enjoy the cool air, the smell of the deep ocean, and buy some of the most delicious and fresh seafood from the fishermen. Because of the sightseeing, the atmosphere, and the food, Vung Tau beach is such a great place for us to change the atmosphere at the weekend.
