Dear Elizabeth,

You are going to stay with my family for 2 months on a cultural homestay program, which begins this Monday. I am writing this letter to you to inform you of the rules in my family because I know living together with strangers is very difficult. 

There are some rules:

1. My family is quite traditional, so you have to eat meals with us on time. We have breakfast at 7 am, have lunch at 12 am and have lunch at 7 pm. In case you can't have meals at home, you should tell us.

2. Because we have a little baby and a strict neighbor, you should make any noise after 9 pm.

3. You should clean your room regularly, if not, my mother won't be content.

Besides those rules, feel free to do anything you want. I hope you will have the best time at my house. I look forward to seeing you soon.
