From the time I was born, my parents helped me take my first steps. When I was growing up, my parents always helped me when I needed it. Therefore, they also taught me one thing: always help people in need and difficulty. I always remember what my parents taught me, because thanks to their help, I have become who I am today. There are people in this world who are more difficult than me, so I need to always help them.

In a sense, yes, they did. I do not remember being directly told to help others because it's important or because it's of a good cause. They taught me the lessons by doing it themselves. They would donate to beggars, and occassionally even have a short conversation with them. My mother is an absolute fan of cakes, and is a fantastic baker. She remembers our neighbours' kids' birthdays and gifts them a handmade small cake on the occassion, but I have yet to see her bake one grown-up neighbours' birthdays. I think the reason is because adults in my local area hardly ever celebrate their own birthdays, it seems to be an unimportant matter to them. Meanwhile, my father helps our neighbours with repairing electric items such as electric fans or televisions once in a while. He is surprisingly good at this, even though he's not at all an electrician. As an observant kid, I've noticed that people adore my parents wholeheartedly for their kind acts, and my parents always seem to be so content with their lives. I've always admired them and strived to be a kind person, partly because I want to become as great as my parents and also because I want to leave the world a better place than I found it. However, I do acknowledge that I may get taken advantage of if I'm not cautious enough; but I certainly won't let that stop me from pursuing my ideals.
