The Hung Kings' Temple Festival has become one of the greatest national festivals in Viet Nam for a long time. It is held annually from the 8th to the 11th of the third lunar month. The main festival day is on the 10th day. Every year, when the third lunar month comes, all Vietnamese citizens head for Nghia Linh Mountain, Hy Cuong Commune, Lam Thao District, Phu Tho Province in commemoration of Hung kings.Like many other parades in Asia and Vietnam, the Hung Temple parade is also nuanced, fun and meaningful. The parade delegation dressed in vibrant colors and traditional clothes meant to repel bad luck. The procession holds colorful banners, flags and next to the traditional musical drums echo throughout the journey.The parade not only adds a more joyful and colorful festive atmosphere, but also has the meaning of educating the young people about the ancestral traditions. Outdoor music performance: There are many singing and dancing repertoires taking place and most of the performances, songs have traditional and folk nuances.
