All of the special holidays in my country, I like Tet the most.Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. At tet,I will decorate my house with my dad.I will plant a lot of flowers in front of my house and many things such as clothes, foods,....I won't buy banh chung,I will help my parents cook banh chung in a big pot.At Tet,I think people should visit their relatives,friends and cousins.But one shouldn't eat shrimps because its will move backwards and they won't succeed this year.What about you?Can you tell me about your Tet holiday?Please,write me soon.

Tet is the most well-known holiday in Vietnam. It is celebrated all over the country. It mostly goes on for 3 days: 1st, 2nd and 3rd of January - Lunar Calendar.
Before Tet, people who work far away from home go back to join their family for the holiday. People clean up their houses, decorate it with Mai and Dao blossom, as well as other bonsais. 

On Tet holiday, people cook feasts with various dishes to show dedication to their ancestors. A dish of 5 different kinds of fruit is also put on the altar as a tradition. 

People go to relatives' and friends' places to wish them good luck, prosperity and health. Children are always excited since they will get their "salary" - lucky money in the red envelope on this occasion. 

Tet is the oppoturnity for everyone to gather with their family, to rest after a long hard-working year, to refresh and prepare for a brand new year of greatness and happiness.
