My favorite festival that I attend is Tet holiday in Viet Nam. It's held for 2 weeks from January to February every year. Before the Tet holiday, Vietnamese people decorate and clean the house. They also buy peach blossoms, and Kum Quat trees because they are the symbol of the Tet holiday. Moreover, they buy many things such as candies, cake, fruits, new clothes,...And people often stay at home to make Banh Chung or they can buy it. During Tet, people often visit relatives for wishing good things and have a party together. Children can get lucky money from adults. Some people go to the pagoda to pray for health and happiness. I like the festival because I have more chances to visit my relatives and go to the pagoda with my parents.

In Vietnam,there are many interesting and meaningful festivals,but my favourite festival is Tet,a very big festival in Vietnam.It is a festival which occurs in late January or early February.Before Tet,people buy foods,fruits,drinks,flowers and the most important is peace blossom or kumquat tree.They decorate their house and make Chung cake-a traditional food in Vietnam.Children are bought new clothes by their parents.On the New year'sEve,all of the family members gather to each other the best wishes and have a meal.Then they watch firework are very beautifu.In the first day of Tet,the children can receive lucky-money from their parents,relatives.Then they go to the temple,pagoda to pray the lucky everything go to their family.

Finally,I think Tet is a beautiful traditional festival of our nation,so we need to preserve and protect it.
