Tet is a traditional holiday of our country, Vietnam.It’s held every year at the end of January or early February. Some weeks before Tet, Vietnamese clean their houses. They buy peach blossoms. Kumquat, flowers to decorate their houses. One or two days before Tet, people make Chung cake - the traditional food, sticky rice, spring rolls and other spcial food. On the New Year, every family cook a spcial meals and prepare five fruit tray to worship their ancestors to pray for a better year. On the first day of New Year, people go out. Children receive lucky money wrapped in red envelop. Some other visit their relatives and family.

There are many festivals in a year in my country, but Tet is the most important celebration in Viet Nam. It occurs in late January or early February. Somes day before Tet, people clean and decorate their house. They go to the market or go shopping to buy some sweets, cakes, new clothes, and other things. During Tet, people enjoy traditional food such as Chung cake, spring rolls...On the first day of Tet, people go to the pagoda or church to pray for a happy new year. Then they visit relatives, friends, and neighbors. Children wear new clothes and receive lucky money. Tet is very funny. I enjoy having a good time with my family. Tet is always in Vietnamese's heart.
