My favourite teacher was Mr/Ms NAME. He/she is a very good teacher, but he/she wasn't very strict. He/she didn't give a lot of homeworks and we could ask him anything at all and he/she would answer us. We were never afraid to ask him/her questions because he was so friendly and sweet. When we got our homework back, he/she had written very kind comments on it, even if we hadn't done that well.
Mr/Ms NAME taught us English, but also how to be kind and helpful to others. He/she said that it was important not to laugh at people who didn't speak English very well because they were trying their best. He/she also said that if we wanted to be good at English, we should try to learn new words every day and use them in sentences when we spoke with our friends at break time or in the evening.
I think I learnt more from Mr/Ms NAME than from any other teacher because he/she was so nice and kind and always tried his/her best to explain things clearly so that everyone understood them.
