My school:

My primary school is a paradise with fresh air, picturesque surroundings and beloved people around. It is situated in the countryside among far-flung green fields. Its simple design with two buildings perpendicular to each other and a variety of shade trees and flowers gave me the feeling of closeness. Besides, there was a vacant plot for students to play soccer every afternoon after school. Moreover, all the teachers were extremely whole-hearted and dedicated. In addition, I had close friends who were always by my sides to help me whenever I had difficulties. To put it briefly, this school has had a great impact on my childhood experiences and all memories about this primary school will always be in my deep affection and never fade in my thoughts.

My home:

My family is going to visit my grandparents in Kien Giang in next summer. I’m looking forward to seeing them and their beautiful house that I love so much. That’s an ancient small French villa with a chimney and many old arc windows. The house is light blue that is my favourite colour. There are two floors and a terrace in the house. A living room and a kitchen are in the first floor. My grandfather put a sofa made from wood, an out-dated telvevision and a small aquarium with many colorful schools of fish. Behind the living room is the kitchen. The stuffs in the kitchen are quite old, exception gas stove and refrigerator. My grandmother told me that she had a lot of experiences in this kitchen because she almost spent all of her life to do household chorces and cooking. Next to the kitchen is a cute henhouse where grandmom often takes eggs to bake a best cake ever. There are 3 bedrooms and a workship room where is kept clean all the time in the second floor. The bedroom is very simple and corny. I have to admit that the bedroom looks very musky. When I was a kid, I always thought of scary things would happen to me if I fell asleep in a bedroom like that. And nothing happened to me, of course, that’s just my imagination. The last part of the house is the terrace which is my grandfather’s world. He has many strange beautiful birds whose names are difficult to remember, too. He lets the birds land in the trees which he planted a long time ago. Every morning, my grandparents do exercises and enjoy the fresh air there together. To everyone, that house may be very normal but to me that is the most perfect house in the world.

My neighborhood:

I live in Vinh Long city, and my hometown is very beautiful. It is locatedin Vinh Long province, a small area in the South West of Vietnam. VinhLong has a combination of rural and urban values which includelandscapes and modern structures. It is very easy to get to my hometown.All we have to do is follow the national main road, and then cross one ofthe biggest bridges of the West – My Thuan bridge to step into VinhLong area. The uptown region is full of grass fields, ponds and cattle.There are not many houses there, and the atmosphere is still fresh andfree from the exhaust fumes from traffic or factories. If we go further, wewill get to the center of the city. It is not a very big and modern city, but ithas enough facilities for citizens. Vinh Long is famous for tourism, andtourists love spend a day on the boat that goes along the rivers andfloating markets. There is nothing much about my hometown, but Isuppose that it is the best place for me to live
