The Voice is an American singing competition television series that is well-known worldwide. The purpose of the competition is to find the best singer, regardless of age, appearance, or personal style. There are four rounds: blind auditions, battle rounds, knockout rounds and the last one is playoffs. Part of this is accomplished by showcasing legitimately talented singers who successfully make it to the final on-camera auditions, rather than highlighting lackluster and/or musically challenged hopefuls for a laugh. This is a show which helps contestants to shine on stage with their vocal abilities rather than looks and image.
