Hi, I have recently moved to this area and settled down in the residential colony near your office. I have noticed that the traffic on the main road near our office is very congested during peak hours and it leads to a lot of problems. During the day, there are long queues of vehicles waiting to cross the signals which cause traffic jams and many people are late for work due to the traffic.
The situation gets worse during the evening when school children go home after school. The increased number of vehicles at that time cause massive jams on all roads leading up to our colony and we cannot get out of our house for at least an hour after school is over.
I know that you are doing your best to clear the traffic but it does not seem sufficient enough as I think you need more police personnel during rush hours. Also, there should be strict rules in place for people who jump signals or drive on the wrong side of the road. It is also a good idea to have one lane dedicated only for public transportation since it would help reduce congestion on roads and decrease air pollution.
I hope you will consider my suggestions and do something about solving this problem as it is affecting us badly!
