For me, music is an outlet for everything I am feeling. Music tells the truth. It can be the voice that says everything I want to say but don't know how or are too afraid to say. It lifts my spirits and brings me comfort when I'm down. It helps me feel understood and helps me understand myself better because it allows me to tap into my emotions in a way that nothing else can. Sometimes it even helps me relax enough to fall asleep so I don't have to think about what's going on in my life or in the world around me. During times of stress, it reminds me that there is always something beautiful and good out there, even if it doesn't seem like it at the moment.
