Tet is my favorite Vietnamese holiday. Before Tet, people clean their house and decorate it with many red things. Vietnamses think that red color will bring good luck. They also shop for flower like: Peach blossom or Apricot blossom... On Tet holiday, people gather with family and have big meals. Vietnamese traditional dishes are banh chung and banh tet. They are sticky rice cakes with pork and mung bean inside and they are wrapped in banana leaf. On Tet people visit relatives and friends, the adult will give children lucky money in some cute red envelopes. We also pagodas and temples and wish for an happy new year. I think Tet holiday is a really great festival because we can gather with family and eat lots of good food.
