So I'll be talking about the pros and cons of solar energy. Before talking about solar energy, what is solar energy? Solar energy is the transformation of heat, the energy that comes from the sun using photovoltaic mechanisms. So first, we have the pros. Solar energy is a renewable energy source (useful energy which replenished on a human timescale including carbon-neutral sources such as sunlight, wind, rain, etc). It also reduces electricity bills, has diverse applications, and a low maintenance costs. Now we will be talking about the cons. Solar energy surprisingly has a lot of disadvantages. The first disadvantage is obviously the price. It is also weather-dependent and it uses a lot of spaces. 

But in the end, solar energy is still pretty neat despite all the disadvantages it has.
