Today was the first day of our holiday. we arrived (1)....to......... the airport late because we drove there and the roads were very busy. after we showed our tickets, we waited for about half an (2)......hour.......... and then we got on the plane. i sat next to the window so i could watch everything and mum sat next to me.

  Dad had (3)......a........ sit behind us. When we got to the island (4).....it......... was four o'clock in the afternoon. Later we went to an expensive restaurant for dinner.
