Vietnam has many festivals occurring around the year, one of which is Hung King Temple Festival. It is a national festival that honors Hung Kings who were instrumental in the founding of the nation. The festival is held annually from the 8th to the 11th day of the third lunar month. I used to participate in the Lantern Festival on Tet. It is called Nguyen Hue Flower Street Festival. It was held at Nguyen Hue Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. It takes place every Tet holiday for 1 week. It is organized by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. They display and decorate the street with a variety of flowers and lights. Many people go there to enjoy the beautiful flowers and take pictures.
