Leonardo Da Vinci is a famous and talented artist, but his art is so vast and varied that it is difficult to pinpoint exactly what I like about Da Vinci's work. His paintings are distinctive and iconic, but his sketches are incomparably creative. Plus, Da Vinci is a true genius, he is credited with inventing airplanes, aircraft carriers, solar power plants and painting stunning pictures of how they all work. He also excelled in other artistic endeavors including sculpture and poetry.
When people think of Leonardo Da Vinci, they think of paintbrushes, but I am fascinated by his inventions. It was during this time that he painted his most famous works, including The Last Supper, The Mona Lisa, and The Vitruvian Man. To this day he is still considered one of the most creative minds in history.
