Tet in my hometown takes place in about 10 days. Before Tet, people are eager to go shopping. My family usually has a holiday on the 28th of the New Year, so my parents often go to buy peach branches and kumquat trees on this day. The streets of my hometown on New Year's Day are very busy. Everywhere you go, you can see flower shops selling beautiful, shimmering colorful flowers. Then the shops selling peach trees and kumquats. The streets on New Year's Eve are more crowded than usual, but people pass slowly. It seems that while walking, everyone enjoys the Tet atmosphere. Everyone is looking forward to Tet coming back quickly. Every house is decorated and rearranged so that on Tet holiday, the house is fragrant and clean. On the 29th of Tet, I also cleaned up the house with my parents a bit. I always spend more time tidying up my study corner. My wish on the first day of the new year is always that my family is healthy, happy and my studies are smooth.
