Hung Temple Festival - Phu Tho
Looking forward to this year, my parents let me go on a pilgrimage to the source to visit Hung Temple on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month.

The Vietnamese people visit the ancestral land to recall their roots, and raise their respects by burning incense and customary offerings. Anyone, whether Buddhist, Catholic, Muong or Kinh, Tho ... all come here with a mind of the origin of their nation.

On the New Year morning, the young members of family pay their respect to the elders. In return they receive lucky money wrapped in red tiny envelopes. Then people go to visit their neighbors,some friends and relatives.
