Hello, I'm Chi. I like the Tet holiday best. It occurs on the first day of the Lunar Calendar to express respect for the ancestors and welcome the new year with luck and happiness. Everyone makes some special foods such as Chung cake, spring rolls, sticky rice, boiled chicken, candied fruits to prepare for this occasion. On New Year's Eve, people often play cards or watch a Tet program named Year-end meeting. Sometimes, my parents take me to the square to watch a fireworks display. It is fantastic and vibrant. During Tet, several customs make it a unique festival. For instance, the children can wear nice clothes, visit relatives and receive lucky money with a red envelope because the adults believe that it can bring good fortune for children. To sum up, Tet is a meaningful event to all Vietnamese.

#Tired of studying well

In the traditional New Year days of my country, my favorite is the Mid-Autumn Festival. This Tet holiday takes place on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month every year. That night, I tried to eat rice quickly. Around eight o'clock, children in the village begin with their Mid-Autumn Festival. All gathered in the spacious courtyard at the cultural house to watch the lion dance performance by young people. My neighbors and I also invited each other to participate. Under the bright moonlight, brightly colored unicorns danced around to the beat of drums. The star lights, the military pull lights… glittering in the golden moonlight. Then there was the appearance of Ms. Hang and Uncle Cuoi with humorous responses. I unconsciously looked up at the moonlight, remembering the fairy tale about the pebble on the moon. And wonder if there is a real sister Hang and Uncle Cuoi on the moon? Finally, the most awaited performance by children. This is the moon cake, the five-fruit tray… looks really attractive. At the end of the party, it's time to leave. We walked on the village road while chatting happily. Moonlight seems to be following as well. The group looked up and were filled with wonder and delight. Mid-Autumn Festival is the Children's Festival. Children these days feel extremely happy.
