Every year, every spring when plum blossoms bloom in the mountains and forests of Huong Son, millions of Buddhists and people wear guests from all over the world to visit the Huong Pagoda festival. Perfume Pagoda Festival takes place in Huong Son commune, My Duc district, Ha Tay province. On the high and low mountain slopes, the forests, the apricot forest... are groups of people eager to flow. Their outfits are beautiful with radiant faces. January 6 is the opening day of the festival. The culmination of the festival is the full moon of January to February 18 of the lunar calendar. The Huong Pagoda Festival in the ceremony is very simple. One day before the opening of the festival, all temples, communal houses and shrines are filled with incense, the festive atmosphere seems to cover the whole Huong Son commune. On the day of the village festival, a procession of gods is held from the temple to the communal house, the flags and drums go in front of the bowl-music orchestra, the young men and women are elegantly floated, the old men and women send their hearts to the gods. The atmosphere makes everyone happy. During the festival days, people go out, people go in, people go up and down, floating into the light clouds. They meet each other, familiar or unfamiliar, and happily greet each other with a greeting: "Namo Amitabha Buddha" gently, lovingly and warmly. On the days of the festival, the Perfume Pagoda is crowded with hundreds of boats. The unique feature of the Perfume Pagoda festival is the pleasure of sitting on a boat and getting lost in the fairy land of the Buddha. And up to now, the boating festival at Huong Pagoda has always inspired people to go to the festival.
