Every year in Viet Nam,Tet is the most important festival in Vietnam. it occurs in late January or early February. Some day before Tet ,people often clean and decorate their house with flowers and pictures. They go shopping to buy cakes,new clothes and many other things.On the first day of the tet,people go to the pagoda or church to pray a happy new year then they visit their relatives, neighbors and friends. Children wear new clothes and receive lucky money.Tet is funny .l love tet so much.

The Huong Pagoda Festival has existed for a long time. Every year, on the sixth of January after the Lunar New Year, the festival begins and lasts almost all spring. Pilgrims from all over the country, overseas Vietnamese and foreign tourists flock here both to wish for a good new year and to be immersed in the fairy scenery of Huong Son

Huong Son scenic spot is located in My Duc district, Hanoi, about 70 km southwest of the center. Take a car through Ha Dong town, Van Dinh, go straight to Duc wharf, then stop. Starting from here is the territory of Huong Son. Visitors get off the boat along, surfing along the blue Yen stream flowing between the two sides of the rice fields. In front of you is a mountain range of purple shutters, hidden in white clouds, extremely beautiful!

It can be said that Huong Son population is a wonderful combination between the feat of the Creator with skillful and talented hands of man. The pagodas are built scattered on the slopes of limestone mountains, looming under the deep green forest. From the foot of the mountain hanging upside down thousands of craggy and bumpy stone steps, pilgrims will in turn light incense at the outer pagoda, then enter the inner pagoda, go to Giai Oan pagoda, Thien Tru pagoda with Hinh Bong cave, Huong Tich cave...

Every temple is ancient and majestic, candle lights flickering in the midst of the faint, virtual smoke of incense, creating a mysterious and sacred atmosphere. Each person comes to Perfume Pagoda with a mood and a personal wish, but the most common thing is the feeling of being free from the daily entanglements of everyday life, both body and soul are lightheaded and free from the world.



On the steep rocky road around there, the line of people followed each other up and down. Old, young, girls, boys of all ages, all regions. Strange becomes familiar through greetings: "Namo Amitabha Buddha". Many old women wear scarves with crow's beaks, wearing brown tunics tied around their waists, rosaries worn around their necks, hands resting on bamboo sticks, and walking as supple as young people. The sound of "Namo" tinkled all the way.

Huong Son has many caves but the biggest and most interesting is still Huong Tich cave. Up here, visitors zoom their eyes to the four sides, all fatigue will disappear, in the heart of strange excitement. The mountains overlap, the clouds overlap. On the mountainside, in the deep valley, apricot flowers bloom as white as snow, the fragrance is faint in the spring breeze.

The sound of birds chirping, the sound of murmuring streams echoing near and far. What a charming picture of nature. Standing on the door of the cave, visitors happily inhale the fresh, fragrant air before stepping down into the cave. Huong Tich cave was praised by Lord Trinh Sam as "Nam Thien De Nhat Dong". From the outside, the cave door looks like a giant dragon's mouth opening wide.

The cave is deeply rooted in the mountain. The bottom of the cave is wide and flat and can accommodate several hundred people. Lights and candles flicker. The stalactites and stone columns are in all shapes and sizes, sparkling with rainbow colors. This islet, islet, nong silkworm, cocoon, silver tree, golden tree, cocoons... Pilgrims who want to pray for happiness, good fortune, and grace... just burn incense and sincerely pray to the Buddha will save them get it right.

Going to the Perfume Pagoda Festival takes at least two days to visit all the pagodas. Sitting in Hinh Bong cave, listening to the wind blowing to create melodious music, we will immerse ourselves in the dreamy atmosphere of the dreamland. On the top of the mountain, there is a large and flat rock, which is said to be a fairy chess board. Once a year, the ancestors come down to the ceiling, competing high and low there.



There are many other legends associated with Perfume Pagoda, highlighting the mysterious and sacred beauty of this scenic spot. Farewell to the Perfume Pagoda, in the hand of each visitor there are a few things to bring back as a souvenir. The mother-of-pearl tie tied with red thread is worn around the neck for good luck, the bamboo stick has followed the whole journey, the bodhi seed chain, etc.

Tourists get in the car and leave with a feeling of sadness and attachment, hoping for the next year's festival season. No one told anyone, everyone looked back to imprint in their mind the beautiful picture of Huong Son landscape, to love and be more proud of the brocade.
