I'm MINH Đức, from Vietnam, do you remember me? I'm your penfriend. I have just had an interesting Tet holiday. Now, I'll tell you about it. Tet takes place on January 1st based on Lunar Calendar. Tet is an occasion for people to gather their family, express their respect to their ancestors, and welcome a new year. To celebrate this occasion, Vietnamese people usually clean and decorate their houses, go shopping and cook traditional food, as well as take part in many specific activities during this holiday. Firstly, to prepare for Tet, people often spend a few days cleaning their houses, decorate the house with flowers such as apricot blossom and kumquat tree, or even repainting the wall. Secondly, to welcome this great festival, people usually go shopping for everything which is necessary for Tet and cook traditional food, such as sticky rice cake, spring rolls, etc. Finally, it is time to enjoy the new spring together. During Tet, I've done lots of activities, like received lucky money, watched fireworks performance, and went to pagodas. How about you ? Long time no see you . Well , Tet is coming , have you prepared anything yet ? In my house , I help my mother do housework . In Tet , my children sleep all day . They even play in the house yard . I talk the children shouldn't break things and don't play game . One time , my uncle gives they lucky money and I take all of children money . At that time , they are cry . I am very happy . I like Tet very much because I can eat everythings I like .
