In the past, school library used to be a place where students rarely come to because there used to be not many kinds of books for them to read or borrow. However, these days and ages, the school library is one of the most attractive places at school as it has had more and more book lists which are suitable for all students' levels. Some years ago, the library was just a place for good students to read books. I strongly believe that the others wish they had their own library in their class so that they can read any books they want. Since the government published new education policies, the role of school libraries has changed a lot. In addition to providing information literacy training for students, the library can also make a positive contribution to student learning through activities and services such as organizing activities like storytelling, inviting speakers to come to talk on topics related to students' learning topics and inviting literary writers to come and talk. School librarians can also provide reference services for students to assist students with homework, such as instructions on how to find reference materials for a specific assignment of students, or provide a list of references for a subject. I wish these policies had come earlier in order to contribute to students' improvement and development more effectively.
