+ Nếu chủ ngữ là những từ: they, people, we, you,.... thì khi chuyển sang tân ngữ dạng bị động ( by them, by people, by us,...) ta có thể lược bỏ mà không ảnh hưởng tới cấu trúc câu.

Chủ ngữ He/ She/ It/ N số ít hoặc không đếm được-> dùng to be "is"

Chủ ngữ You/ We/ They/ N số nhiều-> dùng to be "are"

Chủ ngữ I-> dùng to be "am".
